Survival rates based on Coale and Demeny, Regional Model Life Tables and Stable Populations (2nd ed., 1983).
Description of file names:
- "s" is for survival
- "n" (or s, e, w) is for region of Coale-Demeny life table.
- "7" (or other number) is Coale-Demeny life-expectation level
- "e" is power to which base survival rate is raised
- "2" base rate to 2nd power for high mortality of enslavement
- "l" additional fraction of mortality subtracted
- "2" means .02 subtracted from each survival rate in file
